Guide to EU funding opportunities

A chairde,

Below are useful links to the EU funding programmes for the 2007-2013 period.

The next series of programmes, for the 2014-2020 period, are currently under development. In the north and border counties, the new programmes will include Peace IV, Interreg V, Investing for Jobs and Growth (ERDF & ESF), Rural Development Programme and EMFF (European Maritime and Fisheries Fund).

There will also be new EU-wide programmes to which applications can be made, such as Horizon 2020 – the proposed successor to Framework Programme 7 – for assistance on research and development (R&D) projects.

Myself and other party colleagues will be continuing to lobby on the priorities these programmes need to address, as well making the case for simplication and an much quicker turnaround time for applications.

Once the new programmes are developed, myself and the Sinn Fein team in the European Parliament will be producing an information publication to help inform groups and organisations in the Six Counties constituency on the detail of the variety EU funding programmes and streams available, and provide guidance on how to access them.
